Objective, data-driven tiers for Palworld 1.0 breeding — computed from game-file breeding power and parent-pair counts, not opinions.
How these tiers are computed
Best Breeders: ranked by parent-pair count (how many combinations produce each Pal). Chain Starters: easiest Pals to obtain and breed first (highest breeding-power numbers). Trophy Targets: strongest Pals by breeding power (lowest numbers). Element Anchors: most accessible Pal per element for breeding-stock coverage.

Breeding Tier List FAQ
What is the Palworld breeding tier list based on?
Objective game data, not opinions. Best Breeders ranks by parent-pair count, Chain Starters by ease of obtaining, Trophy Targets by breeding power, and Element Anchors by accessibility per element.
What is the best Pal for breeding in Palworld?
Felbat is the most versatile breeder with the most parent combinations, followed by Vanwyrm and Azurobe. For starting chains, stock easy Pals like Blue Slime, Cave Bat, and Lamball first.
What are the hardest Pals to breed?
Trophy targets like Jetragon, Frostallion, and special-combo exclusives such as Bastigor sit at the top of breeding power and need the longest chains. Use the Breeding Path Finder to plan your route to them.
How do I build breeding stock for every element?
Check the Element Anchors tab for the most accessible breeder per element, then use the Breeding Team Builder to verify your 5-Pal team covers all 9 elements.
